Hello, I'm Paige Zaitlin

I have a strange love of formatting. I love making documents beautiful. I know how important design can be to finding a job, to getting projects funded, and to showcasing your work.

I make art, and I am always learning new ways to make art. Right now I am learning letterpress and exploring pottery on the wheel. In the past I have done painting, pastels, charcoal, drawing, digital art, and writing. I am constantly teaching myself new ways to make things.

Fun is one of my design values. I believe in having fun with art, work, and life.

My Story

I am a dietitian, lactation specialist, and public health professional by training. I have worked in nonprofits, healthcare, and government. But my heart has always been in the art & design space. Over the span of my career, I have created presentations, flyers, reports, documents, toolkits, brand kits, social media posts, and more. (I even dabbled in video.) I spent years as a manager, seeing resume after resume in the hiring process.

I decided to take my expertise, combine it with my love of art and design, and start my own design shop: Butter Design.

I know how what it is like when you don't feel like your resume and cover letter show you at your best. I understand the stress that comes with finding that perfect job to apply for but not having a professional resume ready to go. Why stress? Let me help with that.

You have the opportunity to engage my services for work specific to my public health expertise. I can work with your data or provide copyediting or technical editing alongside my design work.

I have experience designing funding applications, pitch decks, presentations, quarterly and annual reports, layouts, and much more. I'd love to help elevate your work with a coherent color story, visual hierarchy, and iconography. I can work with your existing brand assets and incorporate data visualizations. I can provide other graphic design services. I can help design your brand identity, create a unique logo system, and more.
